Exercise 2 – Hear more of your heart beat

The second exercise is an extension to the first one.

Now you try to hear the 2 phases of a heart beat. The intention is to get more attention to the beat.

You certainly heard the heart beat in movie scenes, when someone is in the hospital. The puls actually consists of 2 beats following each other closely, a kind of „ba-dum“.

Try to find if you can hear this too.

I use this exercise, when I want to fall asleep, but I cannot. Usually this is, because my mind starts wandering.
Then I try to focus on the black in front of my eyes, I try to hear the 2 waves of the pulse and count the beats.

That works great, I hardly ever get over 50…
